7-13 July - Alcohol Awareness Week
Alcohol Awareness Week focuses on increasing understanding of the impact of alcohol on health and wellbeing. It encourages responsible drinking and offers support for those affected by alcohol misuse.

Our Nuco Training: First Aid for Mental Health - Level 5 covers the content of the awareness course but also expands on the effects of drugs and alcohol, incorporates the First Aid for Mental Health Action Plan and covers ways in which a positive mental health culture can be supported within a workplace.

International Self Care Day promotes the importance of individuals taking control of their own health through healthy habits, informed decisions, and self-management of long-term conditions.

Samaritans Awareness Day raises awareness about suicide prevention and mental health support. It highlights the vital role the Samaritans play in offering confidential emotional support.

We offer a range of suicide awareness and intervention training, including Scotland’s Mental Health First Aid (SMHFA), LivingWorks safeTALK, and LivingWorks ASIST, equipping individuals with the knowledge and skills to recognise, respond to, and support those experiencing suicidal thoughts.
